The two major non-profits to which Aardex dedicates time, effort and resources, are The March of Dimes and Habitat for Humanity.
Courage Classic for Children's Hospital: For 13 years, CEO Chris Ernst has participated in this three day bicycle ride as part of team Research Riders. The team's contributions to Children's Hospital reaches into the millions.
March for Babies: Aardex had nearly 100% employee participation in the March for Babies. Employees held fundraising efforts such as Blue Jeans for Babies, pot luck lunches and company raffles.
MUDD Volleyball: Aardex employees worked the event selling beer to the volleyball players contributing to fundraising efforts totaling over $27,000 in beer sales.
Signature Chefs: 20 Aardex employees and spouses attended this major fundraising event contributing $5,000 for two tables at the event and purchasing a total of almost $9,000 in silent and live auction items and cash contributions to the March of Dimes.
Other Donations: Aardex contributed over 50 telephone sets and a phone system server to the Colorado Chapter office at a value of over $25,000.
Habitat for Humanity
Aardex employees have contributed over 300 working hours to Habitat for Humanity as individual construction volunteers and group volunteers, working on several different home building projects throughout the Denver area. Habitat for Humanity Denver provides a homeownership program for hard-working families in need of a decent, safe and affordable home.
