Denver’s Aardex to build new Hospital in Muskogee, Oklahoma
(Denver, Colorado – July 31, 2007) Aardex LLC, a nation wide, full service design, development and construction firm has contracted to build the Muskogee Community Hospital in Muskogee, OK. The groundbreaking was held July 27th.
The 100,000 square foot, four story acute care hospital will have 45 beds. It is an estimated $60,000,000 development. “This is a great thrill for all of us at Aardex,” said Rick Butler, founder & CEO. “We are in various stages of three other medical developments; but, this is our first hospital, and it will reflect the standards of the Green Guide for Healthcare.”
Muskogee Community Hospital is expected to be completed within 15 months and will employ more than 100 people initially.
For Aardex, the news comes on the heels of opening its nationally acclaimed Class A Signature Centre in Denver, CO. The 300,000 square foot structure consists of 186,000sf office space over elevator accessible parking. It is the largest LEED Platinum speculative project in the country; and, it was fully pre-leased when it opened last month.
